Modular Refuge Chambers

Modular refuge chambers are designed for use in shaft-type or narrow-section mining operations. AYSAN modular refuge chambers are engineered to easily pass through commonly used shaft cross-section dimensions.

The capacity of modular refuge chambers can be increased or decreased by changing the number of modules, and their location within the mine can also be adjusted. The modules are transported to the designated location within the mine and assembled by our experienced team, making the refuge chamber ready for use. The airtightness of the chamber is confirmed through vacuum testing before delivery.

Equipped with an ergonomic interior design and standard emergency equipment, the refuge chambers allow for safe and rapid intervention. Ventilation systems operating independently from the external environment maintain air quality inside, while integrated emergency communication systems ensure uninterrupted contact with miners. 

During transportation and assembly, full compliance with occupational health and safety procedures is ensured to minimize potential risks. Additionally, regular maintenance and periodic inspections are carried out by AYSAN’s expert teams to guarantee maximum safety and functionality during continuous use.
